In an effort to support continued professional development among alumni, Lynchburg College is offering a tuition reduction program to individuals who have completed a graduate degree at the College and are interested in pursuing additional graduate training. The program provides for a reduction of 50% for one three-credit course per academic year (May to May). The program is ongoing and students may take courses at reduced rates over several academic years.
The College currently offers the M.A. in English, history, and music; the M.B.A.; the M.Ed. in clinical mental health and school counseling, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, reading, science education, and special education; the M.S. in nursing, and the DPT in physical therapy beginning in the fall of 2010.
Under the tuition reduction program, individuals may choose to apply as non-degree graduate students taking a limited sequence of classes or as second degree-seeking graduate students.
Those interested in applying for the program must submit a written request (e-mail is acceptable) for a voucher from the Office of Graduate Studies. The request must include: name, current address and telephone number(s), date of birth, and purpose of enrollment.
