Hiking trails at the Claytor Nature Study Center allow visitors to experience beautiful natural landscapes including open fields, woodlands, riverside cliffs, wetlands, and a wide variety of flora and fauna. Visitors may call ahead and explore the Pine Forest, Otter Loop, Tulip Tree, Riverside, and recently completed Bog Garden trails!
The Claytor Nature Study Center is also registered on the Virginia Birding and Wildlife Trail with the Virginia Department of Inland Fisheries.
