Tyler Tolson Earns Honorable Mention All-American honors
Tolson and Mike Mundorf Selected to Play in North-South All-Star Game

LYNCHBURG, VA - Senior attack Tyler Tolson (Lutherville, MD/Loyola Blakefield) capped a tremendous career at Lynchburg College by receiving honorable mention All-American honors Tuesday by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

Tolson, also an honorable mention All-American his sophomore campaign in 2007, nabbed first-team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) honors this spring. Tolson led the ODAC in goals per game, game winning goals, and man up goals and was fourth in points per game. He posted a team-best 50 goals and 58 points and became the College's top goal scorer of all-time this season.

Tolson and fellow attackman Mike Mundorf (Cambridge, MD/Mt. Saint Joseph) were selected to compete in the North-South Senior All-Star game. Mundorf, a second-team all-conference honoree, led the team and ODAC in assists with 29 (1.81/game). He came in second on the team with 52 points and ranked sixth in the conference.

The all-star game will take place at Harvard Stadium on Friday May 22 as part of a tripleheader. The Division III game will be played at 2 p.m. and the Division I/II game will be played at 4 p.m. followed by the Boston Cannons game vs. the Denver Outlaws at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for all three games are available by calling the Cannons ticket office at 617-746-9933 or by visiting http://www.bostoncannons.com/tickets/purchasetickets/ .
