Softball Earns #1 Seed in Salisbury Regional for the NCAA Tournament

Softball Earns #1 Seed in Salisbury Regional for the NCAA Tournament

LYNCHBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College softball team earned the #1 seed in the Salisbury Regional for the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

The Hornets won their third straight Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) championship to earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.  LC is also ranked #1 in the Atlantic region and also 10th nationally. Lynchburg receives a first-round bye in the seven-team regional and will play the loser of #4 Bridgewater vs. #5 Christopher Newport.  More details will be provided later and check out Salisbury's website for contiuning coverage of the entire regional.
