Paluga also shined at No. 5 singles, winning a super tie-breaker 10-5 after winning the first set 6-2 and falling in set two 3-6.

Brian Nelson (Charlotte, NC/Home Schooled) added two wins to the pocket of LC, as he took his No. 4 singles dual four and four. Nelson also played with Kristian Richardson (Trenton, NJ/Hun School of Princeton) for a 8-3 No. 1 doubles win.

Robert Martin (Madison Heights, VA/Amherst) cruised to a straight set win in No. 6 singles, two and one, while winning at No. 3 doubles with Nicholas Carroll (Atlanta, GA/Holy Innocents) 8-4. Ferrum College got wins from Bob Dill at No. 3 singles and John Hartin at No. 1 singles.
