About Us Academics Admissions Athletics Giving to the College Graduate Studies Library Student Life

The Greek community collected nearly $1,000 worth of canned food for the Lynchburg Area Food Bank on Friday to kick off Greek Week at Lynchburg College. The Benefit Dance included a performance of the "Hornet Hop" by President Kenneth Garren and his wife Sheila.

Greek organizations also helped out with the Special Olympics on Saturday, and will be helping with Relay for Life, set for April 10-11, both on LC's campus. On Monday, students helped clean up around campus and plant trees, and on Wednesday, they will be putting together care packages for U.S. troops serving abroad.

The campus is also being decorated for the week. Ribbons on trees throughout the Dell represent the favorite philanthropies of each organization. Find out more about Greek life at LC.
