Hornet Men's Tennis Defeats Virginia Wesleyan 6-3
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - The Lynchburg College men's tennis defeated Virginia Wesleyan College 6-3 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contest Saturday afternoon from Virginia Beach, VA.
Brandon Brown (Lynchburg, VA/Heritage) posted a three-set victory at #2 singles and paired with Kyler Paluga (Williamsburg, VA/Lafayette) to win by convincing fashion, 8-1, at #2 doubles. Brian Nelson (Charlotte, NC/Home schooled) scored a 6-1, 6-4 victory at #3 singles, and Paluga won in three sets in #4 singles. Robert Martin (Madison Heights, VA/Amherst) captured a three-set victory in #5 singles and teamed with Hyun Suk Lee (Seoul, Korea/Miller School) to earn an 8-6 win at #3 doubles.
Lynchburg (2-10/2-4 ODAC) hosts Ferrum College Thursday at 3 p.m..
