The German "Frankfurter Kammertrio" will present a chamber music concert featuring works by Beethoven, Bruch, and Glinka at Lynchburg College on March 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Sydnor Performance Hall, Elliot & Rosel Schewel Hall.
The Kammertrio is composed of a clarinetist, cellist, and pianist, who are renowned soloists with major orchestras and recipients of numerous international awards. Also performing on the program will be the Lynchburg College Piano Trio featuring LC students, Peter DeVall on violin, Teresa Crist on cello, and Matthew Booth on piano.
The Kammertrio will conduct a master class at 1:30 p.m. in Sydnor Performance Hall. The master class and the concert are free and open to the public, but tickets are required for seating at the concert and can be obtained by calling 434/544-8344.
