Kimberly Land '96 will talk about NASA's strategic communications plan for engaging the general public in its current missions to the moon, Mars, and beyond at 4 p.m. Friday, March 27 in Hopwood Hall Auditorium.

A communications major while at LC, Land is the public affairs, outreach, and education manager for NASA's Exploration Technology Development Program at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va. She has worked for NASA since 1998.

Land was invited to speak by LC's Public Relations Student Society of America chapter. The talk is free and open to the public.
