James Bell Shines at LC Invite

            LYNCYHBURG, VA - Freshman James Bell (Huddleston, VA/Staunton River) led the way Saturday for Lynchburg as the Hornets hosted the Lynchburg College Outdoor Track & Field Invitational.

            Bell cleared 4.57 meters in the pole vault to place third in the event. He ran the 110-meter hurdles in 15.78 and the 400-meter hurdles in 58.56. Freshman Evan Ellison (Atlanta, GA/McCallie) finished the 400 in 50.43.

The Hornets will travel to the University of Richmond next weekend.
