Senior Brandon Edwards and junior Ricky Flynn recently earned All-American honors at the 2009 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.

The top eight finishers in each event were named to the All-American list.

Edwards finished seventh in the triple jump, as he bounded a distance of 47 feet, 1 inch (14.35m). The All-American honor was Edwards first of his career at LC, after being named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Athlete of the Meet at the league championship meet.

Flynn earned his second career All-American honor and his first in indoor track as he finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run. Flynn earned a time of 14:35.87 in the meet's longest event, which is 25 laps around the 200-meter track. He won both the 5,000 and mile events at the ODAC Championships.
