Honorary Alumni Award
This award, presented since 1986, honors non-alumni of the College for exceptional interest, dedication, and/or service to Lynchburg College.

2010 Recipients: James "Jim" L. Owens, professor of history; Donna McGill, director of health and counseling services; David J. Lipani, professor of English
2009 Recipients: Heidi Koring, director of academic advising; Warren Wright, College photographer
2008 Recipients: Enza Inturrisi Steele, associate professor of health and physical education and field hockey coach; Neal Sumerlin, professor of chemistry and director, Belk Observatory; Robert White, professor of French and instructor of music
2007 Recipients: Kenneth and Sheila Garren, Greg Nayor
2006 Recipients: Edward DeClair, John Eccles, Heywood "Woody" Greenberg
2004 Recipients: A. Boyd Claytor III, Leslie Louise Lytle May
Eligibility Requirements: A candidate can be, but is not limited to being, a staff member, faculty member, board member, or friend of the College.
Criteria for Selection: Each candidate must have displayed exceptional interest, dedication, and/or service to Lynchburg College. Past recipients include D. L. "Pete" Warren, William H. "Coach" Shellenberger, Chuck Perkey, Ginnie Perkey, Barbara Owen, and Elliot Schewel.
