Men's Tennis Competes in South Carolina and Georgia Over Spring Break

The Lynchburg College men's tennis team traveled to Hilton Head, SC, Savannah, Georgia, and Beaufort, SC over the Spring Break week to compete in tournament play. The Hornets played in four matches but lost to opponents Baldwin-Wallace, Cabrini, Northern Kentucky, and Mount Union.

At Hilton Head, the Hornets dominated doubles action against Cabrini. Klyer Paluga (Williamsburg, VA/Lafayette) and Brandon Brown (Lynchburg, VA/Heritage) were victorious 8-6 at the #1 slot, while Daniel Civis (Forest, VA/Holy Cross) and Robert Martin (Madison Heights, VA/Amherst) commandeered a 9-7 win at #2 action. In singles play, Martin posted a 6-0, 6-3 victory at the #5 spot, but the Hornets lost to Cabrini by a score of 3-6.

Lynchburg's losses against Baldwin-Wallace, Northern Kentucky, and Mount Union came by scores of 9-0, 9-0, and 9-0, respectively.
