LC Softball Outslugs Wilkes 11-7 in Six Innings  

SALISBURY, MD - The Lynchburg College softball team outslugged Wilkes 11-7 Friday evening in six innings to earn their second win over Wilkes this season.  

Ashley Hohenberger (Wake Forest, NC/Longwood) had an excellent game, going 2-2 and driving in three runs while scoring one. Brittany Allsop (Milford, CT/Johnathan Law) went 1-for-3 in the batter's box with two RBI, a walk, and a stolen base, while Katie Bruce (Lanexa, VA/Lafayette) recorded two hits, two scores, and drove in one run. Barbie Miles (Kinsale, VA/Washington & Lee), Caitlin Dolby (Laurel, DE/Laurel), and Bruce combined on the pitching effort with Bruce notching the win.  

Lynchburg (7-4) squares off with York and DePauw on Saturday at 9 am and 1 p.m. respectively to conclude the Salisbury Tournament.
