Wintry Weather Causes Massive Changes to LC Baseball Schedule  

            LYNCHBURG, VA -- The No. 14 Lynchburg College baseball team was forced to make wholesale changes to its schedule Monday afternoon, after a winter storm front blanketed Southern Virginia during the early week. 

            Four games were affected by this past weekend's weather, including two conference games with Guilford College. Saturday's home game with the Quakers will now be played on Wednesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. on Fox Field. LC will travel to Greensboro to take on GC on Wednesday, April 15 at 3 p.m. 

            A pair of non-conference games was also altered, as dates with North Carolina Wesleyan College and Averett University were moved. Lynchburg will now travel to Rocky Mount, NC to battle the Bishops Thursday, March 5, at 3 p.m., while tomorrow's originally scheduled home contest against the AU Cougars has been postponed, but will be re-scheduled at a later date.
