Senior Checklist
There are a lot of tasks to get done before you graduate! Here are some events you should be aware of, and some tasks you should complete.
February
___Feb. 2 100 Nights to Graduation!
___Feb. 8 Graduation One Stop 11 a.m.-6 p.m. in the Ballroom
___Early February, a final review of graduation progress reports will be conducted by the Registrar's office. Students who are not on target will be moved to August 2011.
___ Stay up-to-date on your school accounts; Tuition, Bookstore, Telephone. Make sure you have plans to pay them off. (See the business office or StudentsOnline if you have any questions).
March
___ Have fun!! Participate in Senior Class Events.

___ Participate in job fairs and other career-planning and job-seeking activities.
___ Obtain three recommendations from faculty/staff/employers for employment and graduate studies. (It is also good to have on file).
___ Finalize resume and cover letter(s).
___ Create a portfolio outlining undergraduate accomplishments to be used in job/and or graduate school search.
___ Buy Senior Class Throws and T-shirts in OSA or see a senior class officer.
___ Fill out Senior Class Superlatives to remember those certain classmates and their certain ways.
April
___ Participate in Senior Class Events.
___ Look for the first "Graduation Letter" in the first days of April reminding parents and students about any balances on tuition, bookstore, or telephone accounts from Mary Hunt. Students will not receive diploma without paying off accounts; they will receive a letter in their diploma tube instead.
___ Look out for a Graduation Survey sent out by the Registrar's Office so their office can anticipate how many people will be attending graduation in May.
___ April 10 Pick up your cap and gown at Cap'n It Off in the Ballroom. For those students who received financial aid, this is the place to complete an exit interview with the financial aid office before receiving your cap and gown. Also, find out about the Senior Pledge and how to stay connected to LC.
May
___ Have fun during your last few days!
___ Take finals, make sure all your final assignments are complete and handed in on time.
___ May 8, Class of 2012 Block Party. Located in the Pavilion. Come have a great time and sign the Senior Pledge and Class Banner!
___May 9, Senior Night at the Ball Park - Watch the Hillcats game with your classmates and friends!
___ May 10, Senior Formal 7 - 10 p.m.
___ May 10, Senior Wine and Cheese. Come get a Class of 2012 Glass and socialize with fellow students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
___ May 11, Friday. Baccalaureate, Senior Send-off reception, and Candlelight Ceremony.
___ May 12, COMMENCEMENT! This is it seniors! Gather friends, family, and classmates to cross that stage as you finish this step in your life!
___ May 13, Sunday. Move out of campus housing by 10 a.m.
