Randolph College Men Defeat Lynchburg 63-50

LYNCHBURG, VA - The Randolph College men's basketball team defeated visiting Lynchburg College 63-50 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game.

The WildCats held the Hornets without a field goal for a 12 minute stretch in the first-half to build an eight point lead they would never relinquish. KC Mendez (San Antonio, TX/Winston Churchill) led Lynchburg with 15 points. Jason Rutschman of Randolph (6-17/3-12 ODAC) led all scorers with 19 points and Timothy Clarke came off the bench to tally 16 points and five assists. Derrick Woods-Morrow notched a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds while Jimmy Greene snared 16 boards.

Lynchburg College (3-21/1-14 ODAC) hosts Bridgewater College on Saturday at 3 p.m. for Senior Day as Mason Wooldridge, Jack Burgess, and Sean Sutherland will be recognized for their contributions to the program.
