
The Hornets posted 13 wins in 2007 and enjoyed double-digit victories for the fifth time in six seasons. The squad (13-4 overall, 3-2 in ODAC) won their first seven games but saw three of their losses come by two goals or fewer. Lynchburg beat Hampton-Sydney in the ODAC semifinals but lost to Roanoke College in the finals by a score of 9-11.
Tyler Tolson had a year for the record books, as he scored 57 goals, which puts him second in program history. Additionally, Tolson's four assists gave him 61 points, which qualifies for ninth all-time. Ryan Cranston (31g, 19a) and Stephen Weis (22g, 28a) contributed offensively, as Weis' 28 assists led the team in that category. LC outscored its opponents 236-134 and Garrett Curran had a strong season in goal, as he had a 7.96 goals against average and a save percentage of 59.8%.
