Hornet Men Travel to UNC

Hornet Men Travel to UNC

            CHAPEL HILL, NC - The Lynchburg College men's indoor track and field team traveled to the University of North Carolina Friday.

            Sophomore John Pavia (Forest, VA/Jefferson Forest) threw a personal best of 46' 2 1/2" in the shot put, ranking him second in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in the event. Daniel Reid (Hamilton, MA/Hamilton-Wenhorn) had a heave of 48'5" in the weight throw, Kevonte Warner (Scottsville, VA/Buckingham Co.) ran a 8.95 in the 60-meter hurdles, while James Bell (Huddleston, VA/Staunton River) finished the 60-meter hurdles in 8.99. Earl Graves (Richmond, VA/Hermitage) ran a 51.43 in the 400 meters and Reid Taylor (Midlothian, VA/James River) completed the 800 meters in 2:00.34.

            LC will be back in action next weekend at Virginia Tech.
