Kristina Darby (Tampa, FL/Holy Names) and Kylie Lucas (Verona, VA/Fort Defiance) each posted five points in the first frame.

The Hornets cut the lead to two multiple times in the second half, including after a Darby layup and foul with just over six minutes to play, but Guilford scored the next three buckets to pull away.
