
The 1999 campaign saw Lynchburg go 11-5 overall, 3-3 in the ODAC, and advance into the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time in program history. LC started the campaign off with five-straight wins and had a three-game winning streak at midseason. The Hornets were 5-2 on the home grass of Shellenberger Field. Marty Jakovics capped a stellar career with 231 saves, eighth in school history.
