The 1995 team went 8-8 overall, finishing with five wins in its last five games. Chris Esibill led the team with 36 points and 92 ground balls, while Todd Perkins netted a squad-best 25 goals. Dave Morrison made 229 saves in net, the ninth-most in school history. Chad Brown earned first-team all-ODAC honors while Will Paris was named to the second team.
Memories: "1995 proved to be a somewhat tough year considering the expectations and the phenomenal success of 93 and 94. This team was pretty young and we had lost probably 6 or 7 out of 10 starters. The entire attack had graduated and was replaced by a rotation of about 5 or 6 guys led by Senior Captain Chris Esibil. This group had an understandably tough time replacing the outstanding trio of Marchetti, Collins and Meyer. Todd Perkins (Senior Captain) scored the winning goal in Overtime against a tough Greensboro team which definitely proved to be one of the highlights of the year. Two Time All American defenseman Chad Brown anchored a tough defense along with Dennis Sullivan and Freshman Buddy Kitselman. Sophomore Dave Morrison began a several year successful stint in the cage replacing Chris Morrison (No relation). We travelled out to Ohio for spring break and lost to an excellent and highly ranked Denison squad and beat up on Wittenberg pretty badly. On the way back from Ohio, our chartered bus broke down during a snow storm somewhere in West Virginia. Another bus had to ultimately come out and pick us up, the new driver was literally afraid to go over 20 MPH and we ended up rolling back into campus on a Monday morning as classes were starting again. I believe this was the last time a team from Virginia ever went to Ohio for Spring Break! Graduating seniors were (D) Chad Brown, (A) Chris Esibil, (A) Ed Bilderback, (M) Shawn Carson, (M) Joe Corba "
