Sophomore (2009): Had a breakout season for the Hornets after transferring from in-league rival Hampden-Sydney . . . settled in as the everyday second baseman mid-way through the season and sparkled, hitting .410 in 28 games, all starts . . . led the Hornets in hitting this season, and was fourth in the ODAC in that category . . . posted 10 multi-hit affairs, including a four-hit contest against NC Wesleyan on Mar. 27 and a five-hit, three RBI outburst against Washington & Lee in game two win . . . tied for the team lead with a 14-game hit streak spanning from Mar. 7 to Apr. 2 . . . finished second on the squad with 26 RBI, despite only 100 at-bats . . . was third in the conference with runners in scoring position with a .483 clip . . . also tossed two innings in relief for the Hornets.
Freshman - Hampden-Sydney College (2008): Pitched 14.0 innings for the Tigers of Hampden-Sydney College . . . posted a 1-2 record in six games, getting two starts.
Before LC: Was a three-year starter and letter winner for the Bulls of Hereford HS . . . was honored as a All-County second team honoree . . . National Honors Society member.
