Junior (2009): Continued his assault on the conference this season, as he again was one of the Hornet's main producers . . . finished as the team's second leading hitter, posting a .370 batting average . . . one of the team's most versatile players, playing third base and outfield . . . posted 32 runs and 57 hits, 13 of which were of the extra-base variety . . . broke the school all-time stolen base mark against PSU-Harrisburg with a four swipe performance . . . was 27 of 32 in stolen base attempts and also chalked up five triples, both second-best in the ODAC . . . led the team with 19 multi-hit games, including one of only two LC five-hit games in 2009 . . . drove in multiple RBI in seven games, second best on the team.

Sophomore (2008): Emerged as one of the Horents go-to bats as a sophomore . . . batted above .400 most of the season before settling at .392 to end the season . . . played and started all 45 games as a sophomore, splitting time between left field and third base . . . finished ninth in the league in hitting, fourth in hits, and second in stolen bases with 25 . . . launched his only homer of the season against PSU-Harrisburg, connecting for a grand slam and a two-run double in the same inning.

Freshman (2007): Was a pleasant surprise for the Hornets as a first-year player, stepping into a starting role right out of high school . . . had 37 hits as a newcomer, finishing the season with a .276 batting average . . . was successful on all 10 of his stolen base attempts . . . had eight doubles and one triple on the season.

Before LC: Was a four-year letter winner and three-season starter for head coach Keith Scruggs and the Pioneers of Heritage HS . . . was a first-team All-Seminolen selection in 2006, garnering an honorable mention in 2005 . . . honorable mention All-Central Region in 2006 . . . was also a standout golfer for the Pioneers as well.

Personal: Son of Jeff, Sr. and Mary Clare Taylor . . . no brothers or sisters . . . exercise physiology major and a sports management minor . . . LC Honor Roll laurels.
