LC Men's Track at East Tennessee State
JOHNSON CITY, TN - The Lynchburg College men's indoor track and field team traveled southwest Friday to compete at the two-day East Tennessee State University Invitational.
Senior Brandon Edwards (Warrenton, VA/Fauquier) paced the Hornets in both the 200 (22.52) and 400-meter dashes (50.50), edging teammates Earl Graves (Richmond, VA/Hermitage) and Chris Word (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) in both events. Graves finished the 200 in 22.53 and the 400 in 50.87 while Word recorded times of 22.81 and 51.01, respectively. Kevonte Warner (Scottsville, VA/Buckingham Co.) ran a personal best of 8.77 in the 60-meter hurdles and Mark Chauteh (Falls Church, VA/Bishop O'Connell) finished the 60-meters in 7.30.
The LC distance corps will compete at East Tennessee State on Saturday.
