Hornet Women's Track at East Tennessee State

            JOHNSON CITY, TN - The Lynchburg college women’s indoor track and field team had several nice performances Friday at the two-day East Tennessee State University Invitational.
             Sophomore Daphne Desrosiers (Pembroke Pines, FL/Killingly) led the Hornets by finishing the 60-meter dash 8.18 and the 200-meter dash in 27.34. Christina Washington (Silver Spring, MD/Springbrook) finished the 400 meters in 62.35, and Krystle Landes (Staunton, VA/Wilson) completed the 200 meters in 27.70 and the 400 in 62.41. Jessica Gibbs (Lancaster, PA/Penn Manor) recorded times of 8.61 in the 60-meter dash and a personal best 28.04 in the 200. Amanda Johnston (Middletown, DE/Caravel Academy) also ran a personal best Friday - crossing the finish line in the 400 in 64.41.

            The Hornets will have teams competing at two different locations Saturday, at both ETSU and George Mason University.
