John Truax scored 42 points (33 goals) to lead the Hornets to a 5-8 record in 1987. Corbin Hunt added 21 goals and 11 assists. Traux ended his career with 114 goals and 40 assists for 154 points, seventh all-time in Hornet history for goals and 13th for points. Defender Dan Muhley earned All-ODAC honors.
