Pell Grants

The Pell Grant is a federal grant awarded to students who meet the income and financial need criteria. Typically, the percentage of Pell Grant students in a college is a proxy for a institution's ability to address access by lower income students. In the fall of 2011, 31% of enrolled full time undergraduates at Lynchburg College received Pell grants (HEOA).
