ROANOKE, VA - The Lynchburg College women's basketball team started the game on a 11-0 spurt and never looked back as the Hornets defeated Hollins University 103-49 Saturday afternoon in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action.

Lynchburg controlled the game from start to finish, as every Hornet player reached the scoring sheet. LC (7-8/5-5 ODAC) led 53-21 at the intermission, before outscoring Hollins 50-28 in the second stanza for the final margin of victory.

Freshman Carly Greenlief scored a team-high 16 points Saturday. The Hornets were paced offensively by a slew of performers, as five LC players scored in double figures. Freshman Carly Greenlief (Centreville, VA/Westfield) hit seven of 12 shots from the floor for a team-high 16 points, while Brittany Dahn (Glen Allen, VA/Deep Run) scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
