The Hearst Foundation has established an endowment fund which provides scholarship support to African-American students who are pursuing teaching as a career. Annually, the Hearst endowment will award several academic scholarships to undergraduate, Access (over age 25), and graduate students pursuing a teaching license in any field. The College offers teacher licensure programs in over twenty-five fields.
