2008-09 Season-bests: Indoor: Ran the 1000 meter dash, 800 meter run, 5000 meter run, and the one mile run. Completed these races in 3:06:47, 2:22:47, 18:56:93, and 5:37:55, respectively. Outdoor: Completed the 800 meter run in 2:26:19... recorded a time of 4:50:89 in the 1500 meter run...finished the 5000 meter run in 18:52:42, a team best...posted a time of 12:04:30 in the 3000 meter steeplechase.
2007-08 Season-bests – Indoor: Competed in the 800 meters, 1000 meters, 3000 meters, 5000 meters, and the one miler . . . Completed the races respectively in 2:26.72, 3:10.47, 11:03.49, 19:14.12, and 5:25.40. Outdoor: Posted times of 4:51.60 in the 1500 meters, 18:25.54 in the 5000 meters, 11:51.48 in the 3000 meter steeple chase, and helped record a time of 4:19.60 in the 4x400 meter relay.
Personal: The daughter of Ed and Debbie Pernis...works in the Knight-Capron library on the campus of Lynchburg College...sister, Connie, was a four-year runner on the LeMoyne College cross country team.
