2008-09: Competed in most of the meets for LC as a jumper and hurdler . . . was the league's eighth best hurdler coming into the ODAC meet after registering a 8.89 in the 55 meter event . . . registered a 11.72 meter triple jump at the WVU Holiday Open . . . had the league's third best 500 meter dash, clocking a 1:10.93 at the Liberty Open . . . scored two points for Lynchburg in the ODAC meet, booking a 8.41 in the 55 hurdles.
Before LC: Earned All-District, Region, and State honors at Turner Ashby...recorded top times of 15.4 in the 100 meter hurdles and 40.18 in the 300 meter hurdles...won several scholar-athlete awards while posting a 4.03 GPA.
Personal: Son of Randall and Vivian Burkholder . . . has two sisters . . . cousin, Brian Bocock, plays outfield for the San Francisco Giants.
