Two Volleyball Players Tabbed on the All-ODAC Team
Savannah Tinsley Garners First-Team Honors

SALEM, VA - Two Lynchburg College volleyball players were honored on the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Team on Monday with Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/EC Glass) earning first-team accolades and Elena Kritter (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) taking home a second-team honor.

Tinsley, a junior, earned her second straight spot on the first-team as libero this fall. Tinsley had a record breaking junior campaign, setting both the LC single-match and single-season records for digs. The single-game record now stands at 45, besting assistant coach Corri Pfister's previus record of 43, and that total is also the fifth best in ODAC history. By setting the single-season record with 602 digs, she also broke Pfister's record by 23 and now sits in third place in the ODAC annals. Tinsley now needs 578 digs to tie the career digs record at LC and just 382 to move into the top 10 in the ODAC.

Kritter, a freshman, posted an outstanding freshman season as an OH/RS en route to being tabbed to the second-team. Kritter finished with a team-high 297 kills and 2.52 kills per game, ranking her eighth in the ODAC, and posted squad second-bests with a .249 hitting percentage and 394 digs (3.34 per set). She also tacked on 28 service aces, played in all 32 matches, and in 118 of 119 sets this fall.

Both Tinsley and Kritter were instrumental factors for the Hornets not only in the regular season, but also in the ODAC Tournament as they each earned a spot on the ODAC All-Tournament after leading the seventh seeded Hornets on an improbable run to the ODAC Championship match.
