Josh Reed Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Accolades

Josh Reed Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Accolades

         LYNCHBURG, VA - Junior midfielder Josh Reed (Newark, DE/Caravel Academy) recently earned ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District men's soccer second-team honors, as voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Reed ranks third in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) with 30 points, second with eight assists and fifth with 11 goals.  He has earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.41 with a major in psychology and a minor in English.

The Hornets are currently 13-2-3 overall and finished the ODAC regular-season with a 7-0-3 mark. LC enters the 2008 ODAC Championship Tournament as the second seed, and hosts seventh-seeded Randolph Saturday at 7 p.m. in quarterfinal play.
