Equestrian Takes Sixth at Randolph/LC Show
LYNCHBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College equestrian team co-hosted the Randolph College/LC IHSA Show Friday. The Hornets finished sixth as a team with 29 points.
Freshman Kelly Gerland (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) won the intermediate fences competition and placed second in novice flat. Senior Caitlin Flathers (Rixeyville, VA) won the intermediate flat and was second in novice fences.
Mallory Williams took third in walk-trot and Charlotte Harris (Middleburg, VA/Madeira) was fifth in both open fences and open flat. Jamie Carille (Virginia Beach, VA/Frank W. Cox) finished fourth in novice flat and Jordan Rooney (Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) placed fifth in intermediate fences and open flat.
LC competes this weekend at the Randolph Fall Festival.
