Randolph-Macon Defeats LC Volleyball 3-0

ASHLAND, VA - The Lynchburg College volleyball team fell in three sets to Randolph-Macon College 25-16, 25-22, and 25-20 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action from Ashland, VA, on Tuesday night.

Elena Kirtter (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) led Lynchburg with seven kills and also tacked on 16 digs while Erin Heffelfinger (Chapel Hill, NC/Chapel Hill) and Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) each tallied five kills. Jasmine Murphy (/Nelson County) and Tiffany Goodman (Lynchburg, VA/Heritage) contributed with 14 digs and 19 digs. Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/EC Glass) added on 17 assists and eight digs.

The volleyball team (13-13/3-5 ODAC) will travel to Harrisonburg, VA, this Thursday for an ODAC contest against Eastern Mennonite University at 6:30 p.m.
