Volleyball Falls in Three Sets to Roanoke

SALEM, VA – The Lynchburg College volleyball team lost in three sets to Roanoke College on the road in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Friday night.

Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) contributed with five kills and four blocks while Elena Kritter (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) tacked on six kills and 13 digs. Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/EC Glass) and Jasmine Murphy (Shipman, VA/Nelson County) added 16 digs each and Kristina Giordano (Huntingdon Station, NY/Walt Whitman) posted 16 assists.

Lynchburg (12-11/3-4 ODAC) hosts a tri-match on Saturday, October 18, playing Southern Virginia University at 10 a.m. and Hood College at 2 p.m.
