Spring and Summer 2012 Internship Opportunities

 

  • Region 2000 Local Government Council - a Part-Time Planning Internship position. College student needed to work 120 hours in the spring 2012 semester to assist with planning and promoting a series of events taking place in May 2012 that promote walking and biking in Region 2000.   • United Way of Central Virginia - on going internship opportunity. (posted January 31, 2012)

  • Capitol Hill Internships - U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, Chairman Max Baucus.
    Interns work in one of the following areas: press, health, tax, trade, budget/Social Security, investigations, and native American affairs. Deadline to apply for summer: April 15.
  • Monumental Sports & Entertainment - Each year Monumental Sports & Entertainment looks for enthusiastic and professional college students to join their team. Internships are available in several departments for the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, Washington Mystics, and Verizon Center. Departments are listed on the Verizon Center website.
