LC Volleyball Narrowly Loses to Washington and Lee

LYNCHBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College volleyball team narrowly lost to Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Washington & Lee University in three sets.

W&L (15-4/6-0 ODAC) won the three sets by scores of 25-20, 25-21, and 25-20. LC was led by Elena Kritter's (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) nine kills and 10 digs and Michelle Boucher's (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) eight kills. Kristina Giordano (Huntington Station, NY/Walt Whitman) added 24 assists, Ashley Stokes (Lynchburg, VA/Heritage) and Chelsea Jones (Richmond, VA/Monocan) combined for five blocks, and Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/EC Glass) posted 18 digs.

The Hornets (11-10/2-3 ODAC) return to the court on Tuesday to battle Randolph College at 6:30 p.m.
