#5 York Prevails in Top 25 Clash With Lynchburg
YORK, PA – The fifth ranked York College (PA) men's soccer team prevailed over 25th ranked Lynchburg College 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match.
Jon Ports got York on the board at the 17:35 mark off a Kernal Nuspahic pass to put York up 1-0. Nuspahic would add an insurance goal 70:35 into the contest off a feed from Justin Suchoski to provide the final score of 2-0. LC outshot York 11-10, but York held a 4-1 advantage in shots on goal. LC also held a 6-2 advantage in corners.
The Hornets (5-1) travel across to the north again to faceoff with 17th ranked Salisbury University on Saturday with a start time of 2 p.m.
