Lynchburg Volleyball Falls in Four Sets to Piedmont College

GREENSBORO, NC - The Lynchburg College volleyball team lost in four sets - 25-19, 25-17, 22-25, and 25-20 - to Piedmont College on the second day of the Greensboro Tournament in Greensboro, NC.

Elena Kritter (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) had nine kills and nine digs while Michelle Boucher hit eight kills and Chelsea Jones contributed with five kills. Kristina Giordano dished out 27 assists, Savannah Tinsley and Jasmine Murphy tacked on 14 and 13 digs respectively, and Ashley Stokes recorded four blocks.

Lynchburg returns to Greensboro, NC, on Tuesday for a conference match against the Quakers of Guilford College at 6:30 p.m.
