Salisbury Defeats Guilford 1-0 in the Shellenberger Classic

LYNCHBURG, VA - Salisbury University defeated Guilford College 1-0 in first day action in the Shellenberger Classic Saturday. Brenna Stuhler tallied the lone goal off a pass from Sara Jessilonis at the 74:56 mark. Amber Stapler stopped nine shots for Guilford and Gena Goodson of Salisbury recorded four saves for the shutout victory. SU outshot GC 19-7 and held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.
