Freshman (2008): Had a nice first meet as a collegiate runner, as she placed 20th in the Blue Marlin Invitational in 25:16 . . . earned 45th place (21:22) at the Madison-Kiwanis Invitational meet in Hanover, IN on a 5K course . . . ran a 25:49 at the long course of the Dickinson Long-Short Invite, finishing in 53rd place . . . finished 166th at the Gettysburg Invite with a time of 27:46 . . . scored in her first ODAC Championship meet, coming in 23rd overall place with a time if 24:41 . . . came in 111st place at the 2008 NCAA South/SE Regional meet after trekking the 6K jaunt in 26:41 . . . named LC XC women's Freshman of the Year.
Before LC: Was a runner for the Eagles of Colonial Forge HS . . . won 10 letters for Head Coach Tori Arthur . . . was voted to the All-District squad . . . helped the Eagles to four District championships and three regional titles.
Personal: Is the daughter of Curt and Kathy Doescher . . . also runs track for the Hornets.
