FreshmanFreshman (2008): Enjoyed a nice freshman campaign for the Hornet XC team . . . finished 14th overall at the Blue Marlin Invitational, running a 28:36 in his first collegiate meet . . . ran a 27:40 at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational, trekking the 8K long course for 41st place . . . took part in the Pre-NCAA South/Southeast Regional meet in San Antonio, TX, finishing 31st overall with a time of 27:56 . . . booked a 27:09 (53rd place) at the Gettysburg Invitational meet . . . scored in his first ODAC Championship meet, clocking a 26:27 for 17th overall place, helping LC to its 13th ODAC title in program history . . . finished 56th in the NCAA Regional meet, running a time of 27:35.
Before LC: Ran for the Chargers of Chantilly HS in Northern Virginia . . . voted Most Valuable Runner three times, took home the Coaches Award three times and was All-Concorde District three time, along with All-Region honors on three occasions . . . won 11 letters between track and cross country at CHS.
Personal: Son of Douglas and Linda Palmer . . . has two brothers, DJ (Longwood) and Chris (George Mason), who both ran Division I cross country and track . . . undeclared major . . . also competes in track at LC.
