Volleyball Falls in Four Sets to NC Wesleyan

 HARRISONBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College volleyball team fell in four sets – 25-18, 21-25, 25-21, and 25-12 - to North Carolina Wesleyan in the second match at the EMU Tournament on Friday night.

Junior libero Savannah Tinsley (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) posted a team high 22 digs while freshman setter Kristina Giordano (Huntington Station, NY/Walt Whitman) paced the offense with 25 assists. Freshman middle hitter Rachel Huffman (Virginia Beach, VA/Bayside) led the team with nine kills.

 Junior Chelsea Jones (Richmond, VA/Monocan) and Ashley Stokes (Lynchburg, VA/Heritage) each posted seven kills and Stokes tacked on two blocks. Freshman Elena Kritter (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) tallied 13 digs and six kills.

 Lynchburg (1-1) is slated to play Catholic University Saturday at 10 a.m. and will have one more opponent on Saturday at a time to be determined.
