Hornet Women to Face Concordia-Morehead College Saturday

The Lynchburg College women's soccer team is traveling to a more hospitable climate than last fall as it enters the NCAA Division III Tournament's Sweet 16.

The Lynchburg College women's soccer team scored four times in the first 31 minutes and breezed to a 5-1 victory Saturday over Catholic University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, hosted by Washington & Lee University. The Hornets face Washington & Lee Sunday at 1 p.m., with the winner to advance into the Sweet 16.
