
Lynchburg College President Kenneth Garren is chair of the 2008 Lynchburg Humanitarian Awards Dinner for the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities slated for May 29.
The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities is the new name of the Virginia Region of the former National Conference of Christians and Jews (NCCJ). The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities is a human relations organization that promotes inclusion, challenges assumptions, and advances understanding through dialogue, experiential learning, and education.
The dinner will be held at Lynchburg College on May 29 and is by invitation only. Five local residents will be honored for their significant humanitarian contributions to the Lynchburg-area community.
