Men’s Lacrosse

Norby KingSenior midfielder Norby King (Bryn Mawr, PA/Cardinal O’Hara) had an outstanding week as the Hornet men’s lacrosse team swept two conference foes en route to the 2008 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) title. King won six of 11 face-offs and scooped five groundballs Tuesday as top-seeded Lynchburg knocked Randolph-Macon College out of the tournament with a 22-5 win. King was dominant Sunday against Virginia Wesleyan College Championship game, controlling 15-of-21 face-offs with 12 groundballs as LC was victorious 12-6. He was named to the conference’s all-tournament team for his efforts, and he has won 62.5 percent of face-offs for the season.
