Three Hornets Honored on All-ODAC Women’s Tennis Team
LC Wins Team Sportsmanship Award

            SALEM, VA – Three Lynchburg College student-athletes received honorable mentions late Tuesday afternoon with the release of the 2008 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women’s Tennis Team, and the Hornets were nominated by the league’s coaches to receive the conference’s Team Sportsmanship Award.  

            Freshman Jessica Moore (Salem, VA/Glenvar) earned honorable mention honors for singles competition. She went 7-11 overall, and was 2-2 in the ODAC Championship Tournament. Sophomores Elizabeth Eckert (Annandale, VA/Annandale) and Krysten Bishop (Big Rapids, MI/Big Rapids) earned honorable mention honors at #1 singles.
