Cantate, the Children's and Youth Choir in Residence at Lynchburg College, will present a spring concert, "It's All about Singing!," on May 4 at 3 p.m. at Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church, 5810 Fort Avenue.

The children's choir is under the direction of Jessica Burkey, assistant professor of music, Lynchburg College; Susan Mabe Poindexter; and Joyce Bailey.

The program will include Alleluia Canon, based on a Canon by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and arranged by Donald Moore; Caro Mio Ben, Tommaso Giordani; An Die Musik, Franz Schubert; Weep No More, David N. Childs; selections from Friday Afternoons by Benjamin Britten; The Butterfly, Charles Davidson; It was a lover and his lass, John Rutter; Old American Songs by Aaron Copland; and Irish Blessing, Bob Chilcott.

The concert is free and open to the public.
